Board Elections
Each year, MFTIA members elect the leaders who guide our association. This page lets eligible members learn about the candidates for President, President Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and At Large Positions as well as any bylaw updates or changes proposed on the ballot.
Eligibility
- Voting is open to Clinical and Pre Clinical members only.Your membership must be active and in good standing.Each eligible member may submit one vote per position.
How to Vote
Position 01
President
The President leads the Board of Directors, presides over board and membership meetings, and serves as the primary representative of MFTI. This role guides the association's strategic direction and works with fellow board members to advance the profession of marriage and family therapy.

Position 02
President Elect
The President Elect works alongside the President to support board leadership, prepares to assume the presidency at the end of the current term, and helps guide strategic planning and member engagement for the association.
Open to Clinical and Pre Clinical members only. One vote per member.

Board Position
Secretary
The Secretary maintains accurate records of board meetings, manages official correspondence, and ensures association documents and minutes are kept current and accessible to members. This role supports transparency and good governance across MFTI.

Treasurer
The Treasurer oversees the financial health of MFTI, guiding the annual budget, monitoring income and expenses, and reporting regularly to the Board and membership to ensure transparency and responsible stewardship of resources.
